Default Thunderclap description: Misleading?

Here's the current description (from Guild Wiki):

Full: For 8...18 seconds, if target foe is struck for lightning damage, that foe and adjacent foes are knocked down, and you lose 15...9 Energy or Thunderclap ends.

Concise: (8...18 seconds.) Causes knock-down if target foe takes lightning damage. Also knocks-down adjacent foes. Knock-down cost: lose 15...9 Energy or Thunderclap ends.

The description says that you lose energy upon the knockdown. But you actually lose energy whenever the enemy is struck by lightning damage.

I think this description should be fixed...

See above if you didn't get it. I think this would be better if reported somewhere on the Wiki (I know for sure there's a place) where ANet would directly see it.

Standard version is fine. Concise version implies that you lose energy if you're knocked down.

Anyways, I don't see a reason for it to not be changed, so /signed I guess.

Many concise skills, like this one, have poor or misleading descriptions. I believe they were generated using a set of rules rather than written. The standard description for Thunderclap is fine.

/signed for fixing the concise description

Concise descriptions were a project that Anet undertook to add a "cool new feature" that actually isn't really cool compared to what they could've spent their time doing. So I'm not surprised a lot of them ended up vague and bad.

Thank the gods there was a toggle option from the beginning

Added to GWWiki's Text bug list.

The descriptions are fine, but in this case, the "concise" description is actually longer than the verbose one.

What.

See the stupid thing about these so called "concise" descriptions is that a fair number of them are more complicated to work out than the "full" description. It takes me longer to figure out from the Concise description what Thunderclap does than by just reading the full description.

I refuse to use concise descriptions, simply because I'm not so uneducated that I can't understand the information when presented to me in a sentence.

Perhaps the concise description should be fixed, but I don't think this thread needs to remain open to discuss it. We're not likely to get any meaningful discussion going on here. Thanks to Arduinna it's been listed on GWWs text bug list now anyway.
